British singer Amy Winehouse is planning to quit music if she doesn’t get back with her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil. Amy and Blake are going through divorce proceedings.
Winehouse recently posted her feelings on her Facebook profile, saying that she would quit music if all the differences between her and her husband do not get sorted out.
“Where’s my oblivious Blakey boy? x NONE of this makes sense AT ALL,” Winehouse said in her first message. Her next message stated: “Nothing is worth as much as Blake.”
She concluded saying: “Amy would chuck it all in for ‘im indoors.”
Blake is reportedly having an affair with a 16-year old girl and the legal proceedings are set to begin very soon. Winehouse is also going through a rough patch in her life. She is battling from drug addiction and was arrested last week on charges of assault, after returning from a long Caribbean holiday.
Civil had filed the divorce citing ‘infidelity’ as the main reason. Winehouse was spotted with a hunky rugby player while vacationing in St. Lucia. Their marriage will be over in a matter of time and I don’t see Civil reconsidering his decision.
Meanwhile, Amy has again been declined an entry in the United States because of her legal troubles. She was not allowed to enter a year before also, to perform in the Grammys. This time, she was to take part in the Coachella festival next month, but now she wouldn’t.
“[Her] legal case would not be sorted out in time for her to make the music fest,” said publicist Chris Goodman.
The singer will be appearing before the City of Westminster Magistrates Court on March 17th for the common assault charge.
