Bubbly actress Preity Zinta is celebrating her birthday today. The lady who made her Bollywood debut in 1998, turns 34.
“In the year 1998, all the manufacturers of effervescent products went on a mass strike against Bollywood. The reason? It was because, it was discovered that Bollywood had got someone who could give the best of effervescent product a huge inferiority complex.”
Preity made her debut in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Dil Se‘, a movie which also holds a significance in SRK’s career. She later appeared in Bobby Deol’s Soldier and won a Filmfare award for her performance. Her acting has always been her best point.
Just recently, the actress also forayed into the business of cricket when she bought an IPL franchise with beau Ness Wadia. Now it’s been said that she will replace Farhan Akhtar as the host of the NDTV chat show Oye! It’s Friday.
According to a source, “Karan Johar was to take over from Farhan but the director is currently busy shooting for his film My Name is Khan. The channel and the production house have approached Preity and in all likelihood we will get to see her in the show.”
