It’s now time to look out for the new movies that’ll be entertaining the masses in the next year. We are talking about blockbusters and not any other movie.

These are some of the movies which are sure to have a big impact on the box office in 2009 and might go on to change the way Bollywood movies are made.

Kambhakkt Ishq

Cast: Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards

The cast of the movie speaks a lot. Sajid Nadiadwala will be putting all muscle in the movie to make it as grand as possible. A number of Hollywood celebs will be seen in the movie and of course, Bollywood’s new No.1 Akshay Kumar will be showcased at his best. Kareena will be doing all the bikini sequences you’ve always waited for. This is the big fat Indian movie of 2009.

My Name is Khan

Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol

King Khan will be roaring in this terrorism-based movie in which a Muslim man is detained for suspicion in LA. SRK is sporting a new trimmed hairstyle and will be paired opposite his dream girl, Kajol. The movie is loosely based on Tom Cruise’s Rain Man. This is not your typical masala flick… but a very serious movie.

Blue

Lara Dutta

Cast: Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta

Said to be one of the most expensive movies ever made in India… Blue is the first Bollywood flick with loads of underwater sequences. It has all the right elements in it… action, huge star cast and romance. The scenes filmed amongst sharks and whales have already made a lot of headlines. Look out for new exotic locations and typical Akshay Kumar stunts.

Kites

Barbara Mori opt

Director: Anurag Basu
Cast: Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Kangana Ranaut

Daddy Rakesh Roshan has left no stone unturned to make grand movie for dear son Hrithik. To make it a special experience for him, he also scoured the continents for a new foreign chick, settling on Latin actress Barbara Mori. While there was a lot of news about Hrithik getting closer with his heroine, it would be interesting to see their chemistry on the screen. Life in a Metro fame director Anurag Basu will be expected to put in good efforts.
