The man who made body-building a rage amongst young Bollywood actors in his time, Dharmendra, turned 72 on Saturday.
So, how does he plans to celebrate his birthday?
“Usually our family does not make much about such events. We prefer to celebrate these in private,” his actress-daughter Esha Deol said.
Dharmendra Singh Deol ruled box office for more than three decades after making debut in Dil Bhi Tera,Hum Bhi Tere in 1960.
The high point of his career came when he was signed up for Sholay (1975) which later, went on to become the biggest movie in the history on Indian cinema.
Dharmendra has done it all.. romance, comedy, action.. you name it! His on-screen pairing with one of the greatest dancer of all time, Hema Malini was so fine and realistic that eventually they fell in love and got married.
Now in his seventies, he is far from being away from films. With the recent releases of Apne and Johnny Gaddar.. Dharmendra’s still in the front league.
