Curvaceous singer Beyonce Knowles launched the latest season of her clothing line House of Dereon at the famous Bloomingdale’s store in New York yesterday. She was accompanied by her mother Tina.
Both women dressed in figure-hugging outfits from the label – leaving it easy to see which side of the family Beyonce inherits her famous curves from.
The lady is surely working hard these days with new album releases, a movie coming up and now the launch of clothing stuff.
Beyonce is also very keen on the marketing of her label. She has an ad featuring her and her mother including a framed photo of her grandmother Agnèz Deréon, after whom the label is named. She even name-checks her jeans in her latest single Single Ladies, saying: ‘Got me tighter than my Dereon jeans.’
House Of Dereon was launched in 2006 and the latest collection is inspired from Beyonce’s role of Etta James in her yet to be released movie Cadillac Records.
The dresses are in the range of $300-$500 and are available in U.S. stores of Bloomingdale’s, Neuman Marcus and Nordstrom.
