‘Spice Girl’ Victoria Beckham has donned a traditional Indian sari for the photo shoot for the latest cover of Indian Vogue. She admits that she felt like an Indian princess in the outfit.
“I feel like an Indian princess. It’s so me, and these clothes have been made with real craftsmanship,” the Sun quoted Victoria, as saying.
The fashion director of the process said that Victoria was very well-behaved during the whole photo shoot and didn’t throw any tantrums while trying out all the traditional jewelry and accessories.
“I thought she was a hoot! Victoria had this unexpectedly dry sense of humour that all Brits seem to develop in response to their soggy weather!” Fashion features director Bandana Tewari said.
You can see the exclusive photos here. I think she’s looking very pretty in that outfit and will surely make her fans in India very happy. The lehenga worn by Victoria is designed by top Indian fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani. She can also be seen wearing a Swarovski embellished tulle bikini top designed by JJ Valaya.
The photography was done by Karen Collins and she was styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania.
