Meet Zara Adams, a British model of Asian origin who may create history by becoming the first Muslim Bond girl in the new Bond movie Quantum of Solace.
“The casting agent and the producers liked my pictures and other work and have invited me for audition. Working with names like Marc Foster and Daniel Craig, among others, will be an amazing experience,” she says in an interview with The Sun.
Zara hopes to get the coveted role earlier performed by noted Hollywood actresses Halle Berry, Denise Richards and Honey Ryder. It might even set a benchmark for Muslim actresses.
She was born in Glasgow to an Iranian father and Pakistani mother and had a very strict upbringing. She attended the Edinburgh University.
Adams, who is from a conservative family, is also getting support from her family and friends for the role. Her favorite movie include ‘Casablanca’, ‘Dr. Zhivago’, ‘In The Mood For Love’ and ‘White Oleander’. She currently runs The Talent magazine.
