Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has become the first Indian actress to lend her voice to an animated movie. The movie ‘Roadside Romeo‘ is touted as the India’s first animated movie produced by Yash Raj Films.
Kareena admits that she was inspired by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie who gave her voice to a recent animated movie Kung-fu Panda. She even watched the movie again and again to do the job perfectly.
“It was fun dubbing for this film,” revealed Kareena. “It’s the first time an actress has dubbed for an animation film and since it was a first of sorts, it was particularly challenging.”
Well, the fact that even boyfriend Saif Ali Khan is also giving his voice to the lead character is equally inspiring.
Roadside Romeo is being made in a joint effort with Walt Disney studios who have also approached Anil Kapoor to make an Indian movie.
The elegant lady recently celebrated her 27th birthday in Shimla. She is currently shooting for a movie over there with Aamir Khan. Her upcoming movies include Golmaal Returns, Kambakht Ishq, Main aur Mrs Khanna, and Idiots.
Surely Kareena is making a big impact in Hollywood. Prior to her approval to dub for the Walt Disney movie, she has already shot some scenes with Sylvester Stallone in Paramount Studios recently.
