Julianne Hough and Helio Castroneves won ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” competition in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
“This has been an incredible experience for me,” said Castroneves during a Wednesday morning interview with Good Morning America Radio. “I never thought changing racing shoes to dancing shoes would be so much fun.”
Julianne And Helio defeated Spice Girl Melanie Brown and professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who finished second, and entertainer Marie Osmond and professional partner Jonathan Roberts to take home Dancing with the Stars’ mirror ball trophy.
Castroneves is a two-time Indianapolis 500 winner from Brazil while Julianne is a professional dancer and a two-time “Dancing with the Stars” champ.
After the win, she has now plans to embark on a singing career.
“I just signed with Universal Records, so I’m going to be singing!” Julianne told “Extra” after last night’s big win. “I have my first album out in April, and my first single’s out in January. I’m excited!”
