“Sex And The City” star Cynthia Nixon has been having a 4-year lesbian relationship with Christine Marinoni, but hasn’t talked much about it until now.
But now, the usually tight-lipped Cynthia Nixon opened up about her four-year relationship with Christine, a New York state education activist.
“I’m in a fantastic relationship,” she continued, “We shop and cook and raise children…We both pitch in.”
Cynthia and her partner raise her two kids, Samantha, 11, and Charles, 6, in Brooklyn.
“I’m in love with her because she’s her. If she were a man, would I be in love with her? I don’t know.”
Well, I can answer that! Ya, Cynthia… you would have been in love with her if she were a man, why? Because she looks like one already!!
Being a lesbian is at least understandable… but making a lady like Christine your partner, is totally not. Anyways, it’s their chemistry, I don’t have the right to say anything.
Rumors about Nixon’s relationship with a woman began to surface almost a year ago, after she broke up with boyfriend Danny Mozes, an English professor whom she had been dating for fifteen years (and with whom she has two children).
Only a handful of lesbian and bisexual actresses have publicly acknowledged their sexual orientation since Ellen DeGeneres’s high-profile outing in 1997. This very short list includes indie actress Heather Matarazzo (who came out in a New York newspaper last month), Rosie O’Donnell, Tammy Lynn Michaels, Cherry Jones, and Angelina Jolie.
