Princess Eugenie, daughter of Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York and Prince Andrew, Duke of York, is coming of age. The 18 year old recently did a photo shoot and will appear on the cover of Tatler magazine.
Unlike her sister, Eugenie likes to keep things simple. “She loves her glamorous dresses and her hair being curly or big – like Mummy’s – and I hate volume,” she explains in this month’s Tatler magazine.
She is wearing a purple silk-duchesse satin gown by Ralph Lauren, with gold, diamond and emerald earrings by Bulgari.
Sixth in line to the throne, Princess Eugenie of York turns 18 on March 23. As the Queen’s granddaughter, she is five heartbeats away from being the next monarch. Speaking of her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, Eugenie says she has nicknamed her “Supergran”, saying:
“Truly one of the most amazing women ever. She is also very funny….All I can say is that she has this air of magic about her and she is incredibly wise.”
Eugenie plans to celebrate her March 23rd birthday at Windsor Castle with a small party. Her older sister Princess Beatrice celebrated her coming of age with an over the top costumed ball.
She was also photographed for the inside of Tatler wearing a silk and metal dress by Daks Luxury paired with a white-gold and diamond necklace by Chanel Fine Jewelry.
Tatler is a contemporary British society magazine that carries a broad range of topics. It’s primary focus is on social trends among the rich and famous.
