Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan will be seen reciting a poem in Samar Khan’s next movie Shaurya.
Though he will not be doing a role in the movie, it’s just a cameo in the end and it will be used for teasers and promos.
Director Samar Khan says, “My second film didn’t have Shah Rukh in any role and after the film was done I felt like there was something missing…its like as though that special something is absent. Hence for this film I knew that I just wanted him to be in it. Then came the poem part and I approached him to ask whether he would recite it.”
This will be a first for Shah Rukh, who’s done almost everything you can think of in his varied career.
“SRK, for one thing I can tell you, is someone who at time you just can’t do without, while he can never say no to anyone. When he heard the lines of the poem he was so taken up with it that he just agreed to do it on the spot.”
Samar Khan’s previous film Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye too had Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo.
The movie stars Minissha Lamba, where she is paired opposite the thinking man’s actor, Rahul Bose. Minissha plays an investigative journalist in the film who is ready to take any risks for her profession.
Shah Rukh is apparently planning to co produce the next venture of Yash Raj films, namely Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi to be directed by Aditya Chopra.
