Telugu superstar Kamalini Mukherjee seems to have learnt the importance of glamour.
Though her reputation as an actor grew with films like Godavari and Pellaindhi, it did not do much to push her market cap upward. The reason, her critics say, is her traditional image.
But, that is now past for Kamalini. The actress has taken the first step to shed her ‘girl next door’ image by adding spice to her latest role in Gamyam, in which she has ‘revealed’ pretty much, as reported.
“Sarvanand and Naresh are out on a journey to track down Sarvanand’s girl friend, played by Kamalini Mukherjee. How they find her and what all they do to track her down is what Gamyam is all about”, say the makers.
Kamalini has also worn some dresses with plunging necklines in Brahmanandam Drama Company, which is a remake of Akshay-Govinda starrer Bhagam Bhag.
In her yet to be released movie, ‘Jalsa‘, she was roped in just to add a dash of glamour.
So, looks like she is bored of being a seedhi sadhi heroine as she is usually seen in Shekhar Kammula’s films. After all, it’s glamour that sells!
