American Idol finalist Katharine McPhee married producer Nick Cokas on Saturday.
The ceremony tok place in Beverly Hills, McPhee’s representative, Justin Gray Stone, told People Magazine.
“(Nick) is the love of my life,” McPhee gushed to PEOPLE. “This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect.”
Katharine walked down the aisle in a strapless ivory Manuel Mota gown and Neil Lane jewels, while her 42-year-old husband wore an Armani tuxedo.
“I want to have, like, 15 babies,” she told Stuff last year. “I’ve always wanted to be pregnant. One year for Halloween, I decided to be pregnant, so I got this nun costume, and I put a big belly under it. I showed my parents and said I want to go to school as a pregnant nun. My dad sat me down and said, ‘Katharine, you can’t!'”
McPhee and Cokas met in 2005 when they performed in a Los Angeles theater production of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Their union began as a friendship and blossomed when McPhee auditioned for American Idol later that year.
Katharine was the runner-up to Taylor Hicks on the fifth season of American Idol in 2006. She was named one of the 100 Most Beautiful People of 2007 by People Magazine. She was also voted #2 on FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in The World of 2007 and was #47 on Maxim’s Hot 100 Women of 2007.
Rumer Willis, McPhee’s costar in the upcoming film I Know What Boys Like, was also in attendance.
