Now back to Jessica Seinfeld’s Cookbook Copyright Case….

Judge Laura Taylor Swain stated that “Lapine’s cookbook is a dry, rather text-heavy work,” while Jessica Seinfeld’s cookbook was said to be “completely different feel and appears to be directed to a different audience.”

Missy Chase Lapine will however still continue on with her suit against Jerry Seinfeld for defamation after he made jokes about her on air while he visited The Late Show With David Letterman as well as Harper Collins.
