It looks like the the copyright infringement case against Mrs. Jessica Seinfeld has finally been put to bed! Cookbook author Missy Chase Lapine, who accused Jerry Seinfeld’s wife of stealing her recipes, has reportedly had her case dropped after a judge ruled that Seinfeld didn’t steal Lapine’s ideas about sneaking healthy food into children’s plate.

Now back to Jessica Seinfeld’s Cookbook Copyright Case….
Judge Laura Taylor Swain stated that “Lapine’s cookbook is a dry, rather text-heavy work,” while Jessica Seinfeld’s cookbook was said to be “completely different feel and appears to be directed to a different audience.”
Missy Chase Lapine will however still continue on with her suit against Jerry Seinfeld for defamation after he made jokes about her on air while he visited The Late Show With David Letterman as well as Harper Collins.
