Mandira has returned on popular demand to the official broadcaster Sony Max to present the sideline interviews and present the special IPL shows. She is still in the memories of the viewers of the 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup when she presented the special Extraa Innings show on the channel wearing extremely low-cut ‘noodle strap’ blouses, which sent the pulses of the whole nation roaring.
“Cricket has been a turning point in my life before I entered cricket people knew me as Shanti and things but now they know me as Mandira,” says TV host and actor Mandira. “My hair was red till last night ,but now its black and yes it’s a new beginning and it is a new look,” she adds.

As a biography, Mandira Bedi was born on 15 April 1972 in Mumbai so her age is 35. She attended Cathedral and John Connon School and started out in the entertainment industry with 1994 soap opera Shanti on the national television. The show was hugely popular and broke all the records for the afternoon hour.
Mandira appeared in her first movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995. The movie was a blockbuster hit and she got national fame for her supporting actress role. She then acted in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Fame Gurukul, Deal Ya No Deal and Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star.
Bedi became famous for co-presenting the 2003 Cricket World Cup. She has had her fair share of controversies also which includes wearing the Indian national flag on her saree near her feet, commenting on the Bangladesh cricket team and wearing a tattoo of Ik Onkar on her back. She appeared on the April 2009 edition of the Maxim India.
In her personal life, Mandira is married to movie director Raj Kaushal since February 1999.
